This is a fun and short hike to a really neat rock art panel. These are pictographs meaning they were painted. They sit high up on a sandstone wall, silently watching any who pass by.
Note: always remember to never touch or deface the rock art. Just take pictures and enjoy it!
The trail to the Snake in Mouth Panel is a mix between some minor bushwhacking and then on a steep sandstone rock face. The trail is kind of tricky and probably not the best for younger kids due to how steep it is.
At first, I had no idea where this was located, but after talking with someone at a gas station in town, I got some decent directions and spent two hours hiking around. I simply just hiked around until I found it so I’m not exactly sure where the best trail is, but if you use the GPS coordinate in this Trek you will find it.
The Snake in Mouth Panel is named because of what appears to be a greenish snake in the mouth of the anthropomorph (human-like figure) on the right side. All my pictures are blurry of the snake in the mouth, of course *eye roll*, but you can kind of see it in some of my pictures. There is also a large snake above both the heads of the anthropomorphs. There are other pictographs and petroglyphs in the area too.

[…] After this we hiked the short hike to Landscape Arch. Then we went out to see the pictographs of Intestines Man and Snake in Mouth Panel. […]
