This is a quick trip to some great falls that seldom see visitors.  While everyone else is hiking other trails in Big Cottonwood Canyon, stop on by and see a hidden gem in the canyon!  You won’t be disappointed by the mist coming off the falls and the fun minor rock scrambling up to the waterfall.

From the trailhead you will quickly climb through thick vegetation until you come to the picnic area.  This would be a great place to have a picnic!

From here follow the trail up to the first falls.  If you are hiking in spring time there will be lots of water cascading down the rocks.  If you feel it is safe, hike on top of these rocks and continue on up to the main waterfall.  It can be tricky here as you can imagine; hiking on creek rocks can be dangerous especially with lots of water.  Just make sure you have good footing before proceeding.

After a little ways, and some more minor rock scrambling and the waterfalls will appear in view!  They are absolutely beautiful and are a great place to relax out of the sun.
