Trek Planner Trash Cleanup Adams Canyon (Layton, Utah)

Trek Planner Trash Cleanup – Adams Canyon (Layton, Utah)

Date of Cleanup: April 14, 2020

During Covid19 shutdown, The Trek Planner sponsored a family only (Jeff, Brett, Sara, Mom Johnson) trash cleanup at Adams Canyon in Layton Utah.  We cleaned up the parking area, part of the road in front of the parking, and the trail all the way up to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail!

It was a busy day on the trail, and it was nice to get people’s attention and hopefully inspire some of them to pick up some trash next time they are out!  We found tons of food wrappers, plastic bottles, and more.  The item we picked up the most were dog poop bags people were chucking in bushes.  Thank you for pick up after your dog, but please remember to pick up those bags!  We picked up 4 bags of trash.

Make sure and pick up at least one piece of trash wherever you explore!
