I spent several hours in Robbers Roost trying to understand more on why this area would be the perfect hideout for Butch Cassidy and his gang. When I arrived, it was immediately clear that there are several springs to provide for their cattle and horses. This was also a naturally hidden area so no one would have any idea Butch would be hiding here.

I found tons of relics, remnants of a stone cabin, graffiti, and the original corral that Butch Cassidy used to hold cattle and horses. It’s a very quiet and desolate area nowadays.
