Note: I named the mine since I couldn’t find a name for it.

I found the Grove Mine by accident when I was checking out Georgetown.  I wanted to do a little hike and found this mine off the side of the trail.  My hike wasn’t interesting, but this mine had some neat things to see even though the mine entrance itself was caved.

The mine can be accessed by hiking about 1/3 mile on a slightly overgrown trail.  It was an easy hike.

The mine relics are interesting.  I found a lot of old food cans, pieces of metal, and broken glass.

The entrance can be seen at the end of this little log tunnel thing.  It’s clearly caved and most likely didn’t go in that far.

Personal Thoughts

Personal Thoughts

This was a neat little adventure. I wouldn't drive out here just to see this though.
