I had Sunday free and so I decided to explore a new place I hadn’t seen yet. McHugh Creek is a place I have passed many times and never stopped to visit. Well, today I was visiting it for the first time!

McHugh Creek is literally right off the side of the freeway. There is plenty of parking though and a nice picnic area and some trails too. I spent a few hours taking pictures of the waterfalls, bridge, and hiking on the trails. I hiked a good ways on a trail that I don’t remember the name to. It gained elevation quickly and I could now see the Cook Inlet in front of me! What a great place to visit!
