I do not know the name to this mine. There are no names associated with it on any maps that I have so that is why I gave it a generic name.
I found this as I was hiking out to Lackawaxen Lake in Park City. I passed by it the first time and then on my way back to my car I saw a whole in the ground and it looked like someone had been digging there. Upon further investigation I found a small marker indicating that this mine has been surveyed and documented and possibly sealed recently by a company.
This mine appears to have been a vertical shaft although the tailings suggest it was probably 5-10 ft deep. There are some artifacts here such as metal pieces and rubber tubing.
