The Trek Planner Blog Shots
Farmington Canyon, Utah
With all the snow, I couldn’t hike too far without slipping in the mud. Instead, I just used the drone to scout out some areas I could hike to in the future. I found a new mine to explore, but it seemed almost impossible to hike to. It was covered in snow, but I made a note of it’s GPS location.
Another mine I scouted out again was one I had been to before, but it had since been sealed by the Utah DNR. They close mines that they deem as dangerous or for other reasons. All in all, it was a great quick trip to the mountains!
