Zion National Park – Utah
I visited Zion National Park just before a large storm brought heavy rains to the Narrows area. I was on the shuttle bus when I looked down at the Virgin River and saw a massive flash flood surge bring all sorts of logs and debris down canyon. It was quite shocking to see considering there were probably several thousand people at the Narrows during this time.
I got to The Temple of Sinawava and saw a park ranger officially close the Narrows for the day. I hung around for a bit to get some pictures of the waterfall that only happens when it rains hard in this particular area.
