Fall, Snow, and Waterfalls in Zion National Park

Zion National Park – Utah

I had the chance to spend a few hours in Zion after a snowfall. The snow had only reached the top parts of Zion, but it was still beautiful! I went all the way to the Temple of Sinawava and got off at several stops taking pictures.

If you haven’t seen Zion in the snow, you really need to. The contrasts of reds, yellows, and oranges with the snow make for great photos! The snow was quickly melting and making lots of waterfalls everywhere I went. The Emerald Pools pullout along the road provided for a great view of the Upper and Lower waterfalls (the waterfalls only happen when there are lots of snowmelt or rain).
