Today, I was invited by the Redmond Salt Company to visit their salt mine in Redmond Utah! They gave me an incredible tour of their mine that goes down 1000 feet!
It was amazing to think that the salt I was touching hadn’t been seen for millions of years. And it tastes amazing too! There are over twenty miles of tunnels underground and they mine tons of it every day.
Redmond is thinking about a potential sponsorship of my channel since they do electrolyte drink powders and other consumer products.
A really cool connection to the ancients is that salt from Redmond was found at Mesa Verde, and most likely traded from the Fremont.
After the mine tour they let me shoot a rifle and blow up dynamite! lol and I even got to shoot a canon! What an amazing day!
