This is a short and easy adventure to some great ruins!

Right from the beginning, I could tell that this hike doesn’t see many visitors.  I found an old dirt road that I followed for a little bit then turned on what seemed to be a game trail.  It was easy hiking and after a few minutes I was already in the wash to where I needed to be.

In the wash, continue hiking west for about 400 ft and you will see the ruins underneath a large overhang.

The ruins aren’t the most scenic in Cedar Mesa, but I still enjoyed them.   I found hints of a round kiva and there are plenty of rock walls to believe that this would have been a good sized hamlet!  Be careful not to climb or walk over the ruins or ruin walls.  These structures are probably over 1000 years old.  Just admire with your eyes and camera.

I hiked up the other side of the small canyon to get pictures of the ruins from above.  I didn’t find any other ruins nearby, so I headed back to my car.

While this isn't a must-see adventure, it's still a great little hike.
