This is another easy adventure in Mesa Verde.  You just pull up in your vehicle and walk the 25 ft and that’s it!  Sometimes an easy adventure is a nice change from the long hikes!

Not much is known about Cedar Tree Tower other than it was probably built around the years 1100 to 1300.  It overlooks the valley below and is at a great vantage point to the surrounding mesa.

There is a small tower and a kiva next to it.  You will notice that inside the kiva there is a small tunnel that leads to the tower.

The kiosk states that this tower may have been part of ceremonies or it could have been some type of observation spot.
