We spent a few hours exploring Montezuma’s Mine in Southern Utah. This mine is rumored to have Montezuma’s gold inside of it somewhere. Some people think it’s still in here. Others believe it was stored here for a while then later moved. No one knows for certain.
This mine does appear to be very old. There is evidence that some of the tunnels have been hand carved and later machine drilled. We aren’t sure what happened here, but we had a blast exploring it!
