Primus Classic Trail Backpacking Stove

by February 6, 2015

Review

I have used this stove now on three hikes and it has not had any issues. It also bounced around in my trunk for several months and it hasn’t broken anything so it has proven to be durable. It is 10,000 BTU’s and boils a pot very quickly. It comes with a very handy little nylon bag and it weighs 8 ounces so it is perfect for backpacking. I have found it takes 3-5 minutes to boil a small pot. It has a very handy design that is stable and acts as a bit of wind breaker. Obviously you don’t wanna use it to cook major meals but for outdoor purposes it works great! The best part of all is that they are only 20 dollars!

Positives

Small, Light, Stable

Negatives

I wish it had a hard case instead of a bag
