This is another neat overlook of many cliff dwellings and also the scenic canyon.  You can see many cliff dwellings in front of you across the canyon but also look to your immediate right to see some dwellings closer.

The Kiosk at the overlook talks about how archaeologists survey, assess, and then stabilize the ruins in Mesa Verde.  If there are any repairs that need to be done they are typically made using the same building methods and materials as what was originally used.

It’s amazing to see the places the Ancestral Pueblo built and the locations they chose to build them in.  Many are in the middle of cliffs hundreds of feet high.
