(3D Model) Ancient Paiute Village Petroglyphs Southwestern Utah

These are the amazing petroglyphs right next to the rock circle ruin at what I am calling, Paiute Village.  The petroglyphs are right on the edge of some cliffs that drop some 50 ft.  There are anthropomorphs, ambiguous symbols and lines, and even depictions of animals.

This is one of my favorite panels in Southern Utah!

To Jeff Johnson. I am close to being able to print the book, “The Outlaw of Navaho Mountain” by Albert R. Lyman. I think your picture of Comb Ridge would fit nicely on the back cover of the book. How do I get permission to use your print of Comb Ridge. When printed, the books will be sold at cost for extended family members of Albert R. Lyman and interested friends. This is not a money-making project, but one to get information to family and friends. May I have your permission to use that picture? Gary Bishop, lionmanb@yahoo.com 801 360… Read more »

Jeff,

We absolutely love your channel! We’ve visited the southwest and almost all the NPs and NPHS there. We really appreciate your dedication in preserving the artifacts so future explorers will have the opportunity to see them. When you show the pictures of the petroglyphs in yellow, it really helps us see them more clearly! Thank you for what you do, bringing the beautiful west/southwest into my Upstate NY living room!
